# CLOB & Order Matching
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/architecture/clob
How trades execute on the order book
Space runs on Solana using a Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) where users trade directly against each other. No house, no middleman, no AMM curves-just transparent order matching and real price discovery.
## How the Order Book Works
```mermaid theme={null}
graph TB
A[Place Order] --> B{Immediate Match?}
B -->|Yes| C[Execute as Taker - Pay Fee]
B -->|No| D[Add to Book as Maker - 0% Fee]
D --> E[Wait for Match - Earn Rewards]
E --> C
```
[Makers](/concepts/makers-takers) post limit orders, pay 0% fees and earn rewards for adding liquidity. [Takers](/concepts/makers-takers) hit existing orders and pay dynamic fees based on market probability.
Orders match on price-time priority. Best price gets filled first; equal prices fill oldest orders first.
**Order Lifecycle**
* User places market or limit order
* Matching engine checks for counterparty
* If match found → execute immediately (taker)
* If no match → add to order book (maker)
* Order sits until matched, cancelled, or expired
## Price Discovery
Prices emerge from supply and demand. Every order is visible on-chain. The order book is transparent-no hidden liquidity, no preferential treatment.
# Leverage & Margin Trading
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/architecture/leverage
Margin calculations and liquidation mechanics
Leverage multiplies exposure through margin trading on the [CLOB](/architecture/clob). You post collateral to control a position larger than your margin would normally allow.
## How It Works
| | **Value** |
| -------------------: | ------------ |
| **Margin** | \$100 |
| **Leverage** | 5× |
| **Position Size** | \$500 |
| **Shares at \$0.15** | 3,333 shares |
If price = \$0.30: +\$500 profit (500% ROE)
If price ≈ \$0.13: Liquidation triggered
## Key Parameters
* **Initial Margin (IM):** 20% (required to open position)
* **Maintenance Margin (MM):** 10% (required to keep position open)
* **Max Leverage:** 10x
## Position Sizing
$ \text{Position Size} = \text{Margin} \times \text{Leverage}$
$\text{Shares} = \text{Position Size} / \text{Entry Price}$
**Example:**
$$
\$100 \ \text{margin} \times 5 = \$500 \ \text{position}
$$
$$
\$500 / \$0.15 = 3,333 \ \text{shares}
$$
## Liquidation Price
$$
\frac{(\text{Entry Price} \times \text{Shares}) - \text{Margin}}{\text{Shares} \times (1 - MM)}
$$
**Example:**
| | **Value** |
| --------------: | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Entry Price** | \$0.15 |
| **Margin** | \$100 |
| **Shares** | 3,333 |
| **Liq. Price** | ≈\$0.13 |
| **Explanation** | If the market price ≈\$0.13, your equity equals 10% of the position value (\$44.39), and liquidation begins. |
## Partial Liquidation
Liquidation happens in stages:
This prevents complete wipeout on brief volatility.
## Profit & Loss
$$
\text{PnL} = (\text{Exit Price} - \text{Entry Price}) \times \text{Shares}
$$
**Example:**
| | Value |
| ---------- | -------------------------------------- |
| **Exit** | \$0.30 |
| **Entry** | \$0.15 |
| **Shares** | 3,333 |
| **PnL** | (\$0.30 - \$0.15) × 3,333 = **+\$500** |
| **ROE** | \$500 / \$100 = **500%** |
Leverage amplifies both gains and losses proportionally.
**Example:**
| | Value |
| ---------- | ------------------------------------- |
| **Exit** | \$0.13 |
| **Entry** | \$0.15 |
| **Shares** | 3,333 |
| **PnL** | (\$0.13 - \$0.15) × 3,333 = **-\$67** |
| **ROE** | -\$67 / \$100 = **-67%** |
# Multi-Outcome Markets
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/architecture/multi-outcome
Share conversion across related outcomes
For markets with multiple possible outcomes (e.g. *"Which country wins the World Cup?"*), all NO shares are the same [SPL token](/architecture/spl-structure) across outcomes.
## Share Conversion
```mermaid theme={null}
graph TD
A[Hold 1,000 NO shares for Brazil] --> B[Convert]
B --> C[Now hold 1,000 YES shares for Argentina]
```
No additional capital required. You're just shifting your position across related outcomes within the same market.
## How It Works
In a multi-outcome market:
* Each outcome has YES and NO shares
* All NO shares across outcomes are identical SPL tokens
* Converting NO(Brazil) to YES(Argentina) = metadata update
Example:
* Market: "Which country wins the World Cup?"
* Brazil (YES/NO)
* Argentina (YES/NO)
* France (YES/NO)
* Germany (YES/NO) You hold 1,000 NO shares for Brazil. This means you believe Brazil won't win-someone else will. To convert to Argentina:
Hedging Across Outcomes You can split risk:
* 500 NO (Brazil) → 500 YES (Argentina)
* 500 NO (Brazil) → 500 YES (France)
Cover multiple outcomes without locking more capital.
# SPL Token Structure
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/architecture/spl-structure
How YES and NO tokens work on-chain
Every market uses SPL tokens to represent shares:
* **YES tokens** = outcome happens
* **NO tokens** = outcome doesn't happen
* Each pair is backed by 1 USDC
## Minting & Burning
Mint: 1 USDC → 1 YES + 1 NO Burn: 1 YES + 1 NO → 1 USDC This mechanism ensures:
* YES + NO ≈ \$1 (price integrity)
* Always-available liquidity
* Capital efficiency in multi-outcome markets
## Why This Matters
If the [order book](/architecture/clob) is thin, you're never stuck. Mint a pair for \$1, sell the side you don't want. This creates your own liquidity without relying on other traders.
### Arbitrage Enforcement
If YES = \$0.65 and NO = \$0.40 (sum = \$1.05), arbitrageurs can:
1. Buy both for \$1.05
2. Burn for \$1.00
3. Repeat until prices balance This keeps YES + NO ≈ \$1 across all markets.
# Overview
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/build/overview
What you can build on Space
Space provides the infrastructure for prediction markets. Here are some examples of what developers will be able to build on top with data pushed and pulled from our platform.
## Trading Tools
**Automated Bots**\
Monitor probability movements and execute strategies. Buy when the market underprices an outcome, sell when it corrects. Space's [0% maker fees](/concepts/makers-takers) and [transparent order book](/architecture/clob) make algorithmic trading viable.
*Example strategy:* Mean reversion bot that buys YES shares when probability drops below historical average and sells when it rises above threshold.
**Arbitrage Scanners**\
Compare Space prices to Polymarket, Kalshi, or traditional trading markets. Execute when spreads exceed transaction fees.\
[Multi-outcome markets](/architecture/multi-outcome) create additional arbitrage opportunities - if NO shares for one outcome are mispriced relative to YES shares for another, convert and capture the spread.
**Portfolio Managers**\
Track positions across multiple markets, calculate total PnL, manage risk exposure. With [leverage](/architecture/leverage) available, capital efficiency matters. Portfolio tools help users optimize allocation and monitor liquidation risk.
**Alert Systems**\
Notify users when:
* Probability hits specific threshold
* Large trades execute (whale watching)
* Market approaching resolution
* Liquidation risk increases
Real-time [WebSocket feeds](/api/websocket) make this straightforward. Push notifications via email, SMS, Discord, or Telegram.
## Analytics Platforms
**Market Dashboards**\
Visualize trends, volume, and liquidity across markets. Answer questions like:
* Which outcomes are moving?
* Where is capital flowing?
* What do traders believe?
* How has sentiment changed over time?
Build charts showing probability evolution, volume heatmaps, and trader activity patterns.
**Trader Leaderboards**\
Track top performers across markets. Show:
* Total ROI over time periods
* Win rate on resolved markets
* Average position size
* Risk-adjusted returns
Prediction markets reward accuracy. Make reputation visible and trackable.
**Historical Analysis**\
Backtest trading strategies against historical market data. Study:
* Market behavior at different time horizons
* When probabilities stabilize before resolution
* Correlation between market movements and news events
* Accuracy of prediction markets vs. other forecasting methods
**Whale Watching**\
Monitor large trades that significantly move markets. Alert when conviction trades happen. In thin markets, size matters - track who’s making bold predictions and how often they’re right.
## Data Services
**Price Feeds**\
Aggregate Space probabilities for external use. Potential applications:
* DeFi protocols using prediction market odds as oracle inputs
* Research firms studying market sentiment
* News organizations tracking real-time sentiment on events
* Traditional finance firms incorporating prediction data
**News Integration**\
Correlate market movements with breaking news:
* When did the market react to an announcement?
* How fast did probabilities update after news broke?
* What information moved the odds the most?
* Which news sources have the strongest impact?
Build tools that overlay news timelines on price charts, identify market-moving events, and track information propagation speed.
**Sentiment Analysis**\
Compare prediction market probabilities to:
* Social media sentiment (Twitter, Reddit)
* Traditional polling data
* Expert forecasts
* Trading market odds
Identify where the market disagrees with conventional wisdom. These divergences often signal valuable information or mispricing.
## DeFi Integrations
**Collateral Protocols**\
Use shares as collateral for loans. YES shares trading at \$0.80 have predictable value - lend against them. Create lending pools where users can borrow USDC against their prediction market positions.
**Yield Strategies**\
Automated liquidity provision:
* Place limit orders on both sides of order book
* Capture bid-ask spread as profit
* Rebalance as market moves
* Optimize for markets with highest volume/spread ratio
Earn yield by providing depth to markets while maintaining market-neutral exposure.
**Derivatives**\
Build options or structured products on prediction markets:
* Call/put options on market probabilities
* Range-bound products (profit if probability stays within range)
* Volatility products (profit from probability swings)
Space provides the base layer. Derivatives add leverage and new risk/reward profiles.
## Example: Trading Bot Flow
A bot monitoring BTC price markets:
Fetch current probability via [REST API](/api/rest).\
Subscribe to trades via [WebSocket](/api/websocket) for real-time updates.
Compare current probability to historical average.\
Check if below entry threshold (e.g., 30%).\
Calculate position size based on conviction and risk limits.
Place limit order slightly below current price.\
Pay 0% fee as maker.\
Monitor for fill via WebSocket.
Track unrealized PnL as probability changes.\
Set exit target (e.g., sell when probability reaches 50%).\
Implement stop-loss if needed.
Place limit sell order when target hit.\
Or use market order for immediate exit (pays dynamic fee).\
Calculate realized PnL.
Track performance across trades.\
Adjust strategy based on results.
All of this is possible with Space's [transparent order book](/architecture/clob), real-time data feeds, and 0% maker fees.
# Developer Resources
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/build/resources
Connect to markets and build integrations
## Getting Started
No authentication required for public market data. Start experimenting:
* `GET /markets` - See available markets
* `GET /markets/{id}` - Get detailed market info
* `GET /markets/{id}/orderbook` - View current liquidity
* Test **WebSocket** connections for real-time feeds
While the platform is in development:
* Mock market data for testing
* Design your integration architecture
* Plan data flows and error handling
* Prepare for API launch
When the production API launches:
* Connect to live endpoints
* Monitor **rate limits** in response headers
* Implement proper error handling
* Deploy your integration
## Best Practices
**Caching**
Cache data that doesn’t change frequently:
* Market metadata (question, expiry, category)
* Historical trade data
**Refresh regularly:**
* Current prices - every **5–10 seconds**
* Order book depth - **real-time via WebSocket**
* Volume statistics - **every minute**
**WebSocket Reconnection** Networks fail. Your integration should handle it:
* Implement **automatic reconnection**
* Use **exponential backoff** (1s, 2s, 4s, 8s…)
* **Resubscribe** to channels after reconnection
* Consider **max retry attempts** before alerting
## Error Handling
Smart retry logic:
* **5xx errors** - Retry with backoff (server issue, likely temporary)
* **4xx errors** - Don’t retry (client error, fix your request)
* **429 (Rate Limit)** - Respect `Retry-After` header, then retry
* **Network errors** - Retry with backoff
## Rate Limit Management
Stay under limits:
* Track requests per minute locally
* Check `X-RateLimit-Remaining` header
* Back off before hitting the limit
* Use **WebSocket** for real-time data instead of polling
# Security
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/build/security
Risk controls and safety mechanisms
Space implements multiple layers of risk controls to protect users and maintain market integrity.
## Oracle Security
**Multi-Source Validation:**
* Median of [Pyth](https://www.pyth.network/) + [Switchboard](https://switchboard.xyz/) prices
* Reject if [oracles](/resolution/oracle) disagree by >2%
* 15-minute TWAP averages out manipulation
**Liveness Checks:**
* Require minimum updates in TWAP window
* Extend window if oracle temporarily down
* Mark invalid if insufficient data
**Price Clamping:**
* Maximum 1% price movement per minute
* Outlier detection: reject prices >3 standard deviations
* Multi-feed median prevents single-source manipulation
## Circuit Breakers
Markets automatically pause if price moves:
* 10% in \<60 seconds
* 25% in \<5 minutes
**On Trigger:**
Prevents flash crashes and manipulation attempts.
## Liquidation Controls
Position Value \< Maintenance Margin → Liquidation
**Liquidation Process:**
**Insurance Fund:**
* Funded by liquidation penalties (10% of liquidated value)
* Plus 5% of all platform fees
* Covers negative balances from latency/congestion
* Balance publicly visible on-chain
* Target reserve: 2% of platform TVL The insurance fund protects the platform from user accounts going negative due to rapid price movements or network congestion preventing timely liquidation.
## Pre-Event Freeze
Markets can implement freeze mechanisms before resolution:
**Option 1: Fee Escalation**
Time to resolution \< 10 minutes: $\text{Taker Fee} \times 3$
Time to resolution \< 5 minutes: $\text{Taker Fee} \times 5$
**Option 2: Position Freeze**
Time to resolution \< 5 minutes:
* New positions: DISABLED
* Exit positions: ENABLED
Prevents last-second manipulation with insider information or unfair advantage from faster information access.
## Slippage Protection
Users set maximum acceptable slippage on market orders (default 5%).
If $\frac{|\text{Actual Fill Price} - \text{Expected Price}|}{ \text{Expected Price}} > \text{Max Slippage}$: → Revert transaction → No trade executed → No fees charged
Protects users from unexpected execution prices in volatile or thin markets.
## Platform Upgrades
**Timelock Requirements:**
* Parameter changes: 48-hour timelock
* Critical code changes: 72-hour timelock
**Multisig Control:**
* 3-of-5 multisig for admin functions
* 2-of-3 multisig for resolution submissions
* 2-of-5 multisig for emergency pause (faster response)
All governance actions are transparent and logged on-chain.
## Future: zkML & zkTLS Research
Space is researching [zero-knowledge proofs](/concepts/resolution) for an even more cutting-edge, trustless subjective resolution yet to be utilized within prediction markets:
**zkML (Zero-Knowledge Machine Learning):**
* Prove AI model output without revealing model weights
* On-chain verification of resolution logic
* No trust required in resolution operators
**zkTLS (Zero-Knowledge Transport Layer Security):**
* Prove data was fetched from specific URL
* Cryptographic proof of source authenticity
* Combine with zkML for fully automated resolution
**Combined Architecture:** Fetch news article via zkTLS → Process with zkML → Submit proof on-chain → Automatic resolution with cryptographic guarantees.
# How Prediction Markets Work
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/concepts/how-it-works
The basics of prediction market trading
Prediction markets let you trade on [real-world outcomes](/features/categories). If you're right, you profit. Markets aggregate these trades into probabilities that reflect collective belief about the future.
## The Basics
Every prediction market asks a yes-or-no question:
* *"Will Bitcoin close above \$150,000 in 2025?"*
* *"Will the Lakers win the championship?"*
* *"Will inflation drop below 2% this year?"*
You buy shares in YES or NO. Each share pays \$1 if you're correct, \$0 if you're wrong.
## How Prices Work
Share prices represent probability:
* YES shares at \$0.35 = 35% chance the outcome happens
* NO shares at \$0.65 = 65% chance it doesn't
Prices always sum to \$1 because one outcome must occur.
## Why This Matters
When thousands of people trade real money, prices reveal what informed participants actually believe, and not what they say in polls or tweets. Money on the line creates accuracy.
**Example:**
You think Bitcoin will hit \$150K. YES shares trade at \$0.35. You buy 1,000 shares for \$350.
**If you're right:** Each share pays \$1. You receive \$1,000. Net profit: \$650.
**If you're wrong:** Shares are worthless. You lose \$350.
**If you exit early:** Prices update as news breaks. If YES rises to \$0.60, you can sell for \$600 (profit: \$250) without waiting for resolution.
That's prediction markets. Space makes them faster, deeper, and more capital-efficient.
# Makers & Takers
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/concepts/makers-takers
The two types of market participants
Within the Space [CLOB architecture](/features/clob), there are two primary types of participants who drive liquidity and price discovery: makers and takers.
Makers add liquidity to the order book by posting limit orders that sit on the order book until they're matched with an opposing order. These orders help with market depth and establish the bid-ask spread.
Takers place limit or market orders that execute immediately as they're matched with the existing maker orders and remove liquidity from the pool.
# Share Minting and Burning

The mechanism that ensures fair pricing
Space uses a share minting and burning mechanism that allows you to create or destroy YES and NO shares at any time, ensuring you always have liquidity and fair pricing.
## How It Works
At any moment, you can:
* Mint shares: Deposit \$1 USDC → Receive 1 YES share + 1 NO share
* Burn shares: Return 1 YES share + 1 NO share → Get \$1 USDC back
This simple mechanism is the backbone of Space's capital efficiency. It means you're never truly "stuck" in a position - even if there are no buyers for your shares, you can create your own liquidity by minting pairs and selling the opposite side.
**Example:**
You hold 1,000 YES shares in the market *"Will BTC close above \$150K?"* but no one wants to buy them. Here's what you can do:
* Mint 1,000 new pairs by depositing \$1,000 (you now have 1,000 YES + 1,000 NO shares)
* Sell your original 1,000 YES shares on the market at the current price of \$0.35 = \$350
* Keep the 1,000 NO shares from the minted pairs
* Net result: You've effectively converted your YES position into a NO position for \$650 (\$1,000 deposit - \$350 received)
## Why This Matters
Always Available Liquidity: You can exit positions even in thin markets by creating your own counterparty through minting.
**Fair Prices:** If YES trades at \$0.65 and NO trades at \$0.40 (which adds up to \$1.05 instead of \$1), arbitrageurs can profit by buying both and burning them for \$1. This keeps prices honest and ensures YES + NO always equals approximately \$1.
**Multi-Outcome Markets:** In markets with [multiple outcomes](/features/multi-outcome) (like *"Which country wins the World Cup?"*), all NO shares are identical. This means your NO shares for "Brazil" can be converted into YES shares for "Argentina" without any additional capital - you're simply shifting your trade across related outcomes.
This mechanism is the same one used by leading prediction markets like Polymarket and it's what makes Space's multi-outcome markets and continuous trading possible.
# Market Resolution
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/concepts/resolution
How markets settle by market type
## Deterministic Resolution
Crypto prices and on-chain events settle automatically via verifiable blockchain data at expiration. Read more about the development side of deterministic resolution [here](/resolution/deterministic).
## Oracle Resolution
Real-world events resolve through trusted data sources within 24h of expiry - ensuring accuracy and finality. Read more about the development side of oracle resolution [here](/resolution/oracle).
## Future Infrastructure
Space is pioneering cryptographic verification methods (zkML, zkTLS) to enable trustless resolution of off-chain events.
## Rules and Logic
Resolution criteria are explicitly defined in each market description before trading begins.
# Airdrops & Points
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/features/airdrops
How points determine your airdrop allocation
\$SPC is distributed to users through seasonal airdrops. Your share is determined by the points you've earned - the more points, the larger your airdrop. Top performers also receive invitations to exclusive events.
## What Are Points?
Points measure meaningful participation on Space: trading, providing [limit-order liquidity](/features/rewards), referrals, and ongoing engagement. They are an auditable record Space uses when distributing airdrops. Points are a participation metric, not a token or guarantee of future rewards.
Point calculation details and eligibility requirements are announced before each season begins, and points reset at the start of each new season.
## How to Earn Points
* Trading activity
* Referrals
* Participating in competitions
* Task completion
* Daily logins and streak bonuses
* Unlocking achievements
* Community participation
* Engagement on social platforms
## Airdrops
Airdrops on Space are a distribution tool, not a giveaway. They align ownership with the people who actually use the product, like: traders, liquidity providers, and affiliates, to name a few. Distributing tokens to real participants strengthens decentralization and rewards behavior that make markets liquid and reliable.
## What are Seasons?
Space distributes ownership through Seasons: time-bounded reward periods that align token distribution with genuine platform usage. Each Season measures contribution and broadens community ownership.
**How It Works:**
1. **Announcement:** Space publishes duration, reward weightings, and eligibility criteria before each Season.
2. **Earn Points:** Trade, engage, bring users via referrals, maintain streaks, or provide liquidity.
3. **Snapshot:** Space records participation data when the Season ends.
4. **Distribution:** Ecosystem rewards are distributed to eligible wallets, proportional to verified Points.
5. **Reset:** Points reset and a new Season begins with updated weights and features.
## Why Seasons Matter
Long-term value is created when ownership aligns with ecosystem participation. Giving broad ownership to real users creates stronger network effects, deeper liquidity, and higher platform trust - and ends up rallying the token rather than causing a dump ([Hyperliquid, 2025](https://nodescience.medium.com/ultimate-guide-on-hyperliquid-season-2-07-19-updated-bb16870f4d98)). Space turns users into stakeholders, and engagement into equity.

# Central Limit Order Book
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/features/clob
Trade against other users, not the house
Space operates on a Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) architecture - the same model used by traditional stock exchanges which transparently displays orders on-chain within the order book. The platform continuously matches compatible buys (bids) with sells (asks) at chosen prices and traders provide liquidity by posting orders on both sides. Price emerges from user supply and demand.
## How It Works
You buy shares in a YES or NO outcome stating the price and quantity of shares. For example paying \$0.25 per share means there is a 25% chance this outcome will happen; if guessed correctly these shares will be worth \$1 on expiry, if incorrectly they'll be worth \$0.
Instead of trading against the platform, you trade against other users; everyone can place buy or sell orders and when prices match, the trade takes place automatically. Orders that do not immediately match remain open in the order book until filled, cancelled, or expired.
If you initial trade was correct when the market resolves, all your winning shares that you bought for \$0.25 are then cashed out at \$1 value. And your incorrect shares will be cashed out at \$0.
The Space Continuous Trading structure enables real-time, continuous trading of prediction markets where you can enter and exit at any point without needing to wait until resolution. More information on this in Continuous Markets.
## Example
**Market:** *"Will BTC close above \$150,000 in 2025?"*
* The YES price is \$0.25 which means the market thinks there is a 25% chance this will happen
* You decide to buy 1,000 YES shares at \$0.25
* If BTC closes above \$150,000, your YES shares are worth \$1 and you win \$750 profit (\$1,000 - \$250 cost)
* If BTC closes below \$150,000, your YES shares are worth \$0 and you lose your \$250 trade
* If you wish to exit your trade before the end of the expiry date, you'll be able to see the current price/probability of the outcome, let's say the market is sitting at \$0.50 (50% probability), your shares are now worth 2x more so you can simply sell your 1,000 shares you bought at \$0.25 for \$0.50 each, taking out \$500, making you \$250 net profit.
## Advantages
* **Efficiency:** handles high volume efficiently and market prices adjust instantly based on supply and demand.
* **Control and Flexibility:** users have the ability to set [limit orders](/guides/limit-order) with their chosen price, size and timing.
* **Tight Spreads:** through orderbook and limit orders.
* **Transparency:** every order is visible and traceable.
# Continuous Markets
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/features/continuous
Real-time trading without waiting for expiry
Space will operate continuous trading markets rather than simple binary settle-at-expiry events. Users will be able to enter or exit positions at any time before [resolution](/concepts/resolution), enabling them to:
* Manage risk
* Lock in profits
* Cut losses
* Exit positions early
Users can close their positions prior to resolution using the [market order](/guides/market-order) or [limit order](/guides/limit-order) options.
This continuous liquidity mechanism gives more control to the user while enhancing price discovery; as new information arrives, the market price will adjust dynamically to reflect evolving probabilities.
Positions can get partially filled if buyers match only a part of the sell order
# Dynamic Fee Curve
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/features/dynamic-fees
How trading fees adjust with market certainty
The Space Dynamic Fee Curve is designed as an incentive alignment mechanism for [makers & takers](/concepts/makers-takers) which uses fee asymmetry in order to achieve the following:
* Reward early participation, conviction and risk taking
* Maintain orderly books
* Reward makers for providing deeper liquidity (see: [rewards](/features/rewards))
* Incentivize consistent, long term participation
* Punish market manipulation
Traders adding liquidity to the order book via limit orders (makers) pay 0 fees. The below fees only apply to market orders that get filled instantly (takers)
1. **Buy Fee**: when a market order position is opened, fees start higher during uncertain phases of the market where your odds are highest and gradually decrease as the market gains more certainty
$$
F_{\text{buy}} (p) = F_{\text{min}} + (F_{\text{max}} - F_{\text{min}}) \times (1-(p/100)^{\alpha})
$$
where
* $F_{\text{buy}} (p)$: Buy-side fee at probability $p \%$
* $F_{\text{max}} = 2.00\%$: Maximum fee at $0\%$ probability (highest uncertainty)
* $F_{\text{min}} = 0.02\%$: Minimum fee at $100\%$ probability (certainty)
* $\alpha = 1.3$: Curve-shape coefficient (controls smoothness of decline)\
\
**Example:** \
At $p = 20\%$, $F_{\text{buy}}(20) \approx 1.76\%$ but you're buying contracts that could pay out \$1 (400% ROI) so your odds are better \
At $p = 80\%$, $F_{\text{buy}}(80) \approx 0.10\%$ you'll pay a 0.05% buy fee but your upside is smaller at \$0.25 (25% ROI) as your odds are worse
2. **Sell Fee:** if you wait until the market is resolved or you place a limit order to exit that doesn't get triggered immediately you are a maker and therefore do not pay any fee. However, if you want to close your position early via a market order, you need to understand that fees peak near the midpoint (at 50% probably or \$0.50) where uncertainty and volatility are highest; neither YES or NO sides have a clear informational advantage. This is the point where price manipulation and short-term flipping are most likely to occur therefore in order to protect market integrity and stabilize pricing, fees are highest (1%) and taper off towards either side as outcomes become more certain (0.02%).
$$
F_{\text{sell}} (p) = F_{\text{min}} + (F_{\text{peak}} - F_{\text{min}}) \times e^{-0.5 (\frac{p-50}{\sigma})^2}
$$
where
* $F_{\text{sell}} (p)$: Sell-side fee at probability $p \%$
* $F_{\text{peak}} = 1.00\%$: Maximum fee at $50\%$ probability (maximum uncertainty)
* $F_{\text{min}} = 0.02\%$: Minimum fee at $100\%$ probability (certainty)
* $\alpha = 1.3$: Curve-shape coefficient (controls smoothness of decline)
At \$0.50 (50% probability) your sell fee is 1%
At \$0.20 (20% probability) your sell fee is approximately 0.12%\
\
**Example:**\
You wish to enter the trade below via a market order (if you entered via limit order you wouldn't pay any fee).
| | **Value** |
| -----------------------------: | ---------------------------------------------- |
| **Order Type** | Market (fee applies; limit orders have no fee) |
| **Market** | "Will BTC close above \$150,000 this year?" |
| **Current BTC Price** | \$125,000 |
| **Current Market Probability** | 30% |
| **Shares to Buy** | 1,000 YES shares at \$0.30 |
* Position size: 1,000 x \$0.30 = \$300
* Buy fee ≈ 1.6% (\$4.80)
* **Total cost:** \$304.80
* BTC rallies to \$145 and market probability rises to 80%
* Sell price: \$0.80 x 1,000 = \$800
* Sell fee ≈ 0.04% (\$0.32)
* Net proceeds: \$799.68
* **Net profit:** \$800 - \$0.32 - \$304.80 = \$494.88 (162% ROI)
# Leverage
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/features/leverage
How leverage multiplies your exposure
Leverage allows you to amplify your potential returns when trading on Space. Instead of paying the full amount for your position upfront, you can use a fraction of the total value as collateral - giving you exposure to a larger position size. With each prediction you choose the price and amount of shares you wish to buy. With leverage, you're able to buy more shares with your capital and gain greater exposure to the market.
**Example Market:** *"Will the U.S. government shut down before the end of the year?"*\
**Current Market Probability:** 15% (YES shares priced at \$0.15)
* You decide to buy 1,000 YES shares at \$0.15.
* Without leverage, that costs \$150.
* With 5× leverage, you only need to deposit \$30 as margin (20% of the position value).
* If the market shifts to 30% (\$0.30), your position doubles in value - now worth \$300, giving you a \$150 profit on just \$30 margin (500% ROE).
* But if the odds fall to ≈13.33% (≈\$0.13), your position would be liquidated.
# Multi-Outcome Markets
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/features/multi-outcome
Shared liquidity across related outcomes
Multi-Outcome Markets allow you to trade on events with multiple results where only one can be true. Instead of creating separate binary (YES/NO) markets for each possibility, Space consolidates all related outcomes into a single unified market with shared liquidity. This architecture improves capital efficiency and provides deeper liquidity by linking all outcomes together through a share conversion mechanism.
## How It Works
Each outcome has its own YES and NO [orderbook](/features/clob), but all outcomes are interconnected through a shared liquidity system and only one outcome can win like a multiple-choice question.
**Example Market:** *"Which world leader will make a state visit to the White House first in 2026?"*
| **#** | **Leader** | **Country** | **Options** |
| ----: | --------------- | ----------- | ----------- |
| 1 | Emmanuel Macron | France | YES/NO |
| 2 | Keir Starmer | UK | YES/NO |
| 3 | Narendra Modi | India | YES/NO |
| 4 | Fumio Kishida | Japan | YES/NO |
| 5 | Other | — | YES/NO |
Each outcome works like a normal binary market, but with one critical advantage; NO shares can be converted between outcomes.
If you hold NO shares for outcome 1 (Emmanuel Macron - France) you are essentially saying that one of the other leaders will visit first. This means your NO shares can be converted into YES shares for any other outcome in that market.
**Example:**
* You hold 1,000 NO shares for outcome 1 Emmanuel Macron.
* You change your mind and think outcome 2, Keir Starmer, is more likely.
* You can convert your 1,000 NO shares from outcome 1 for 1,000 YES shares of outcome 2 without having to add any additional capital.
## Share Conversion Mechanism
If you hold NO shares for outcome 1 (Emmanuel Macron - France) you are essentially saying that one of the other leaders will visit first. This means your NO shares can be converted into YES shares for any other outcome in that market.
**Example:**
* You hold 1,000 NO shares for outcome 1 Emmanuel Macron.
* You change your mind and think outcome 2, Keir Starmer, is more likely.
* You can convert your 1,000 NO shares from outcome 1 for 1,000 YES shares of outcome 2 without having to add any additional capital.
## Hedging Across Multiple Outcomes
Another added benefit of Space's Multi-Outcome Markets is that it gives you the flexibility to spread your risk.
**Example:**\
You can convert your 1,000 NO shares from Macron into 500 YES shares of Starmer and an additional 500 YES shares of Modi covering both bases and spreading your risk.
Space's Multi-Outcome Markets represent a significant evolution in prediction market architecture, combining the best aspects of concentrated liquidity, capital efficiency, and intuitive user experience. By enabling seamless position shifts through share conversion, Space makes it easier than ever to trade complex, multi-possibility events while adapting to breaking news and changing circumstances without being locked into your initial prediction.
# Liquidity Rewards
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/features/rewards
Rewards for limit orders and market depth
Space rewards [makers](/concepts/makers-takers) for providing liquidity through placing limit orders and keeping markets balanced. Markets are only as good as the capital that holds them open - without deep order books, prices become unreliable and easily manipulated.
## How It Works
Placing a [limit order](/guides/limit-order) automatically enrolls you in liquidity rewards. Your reward allocation is calculated by combining:
* Time until market resolution (duration multiplier)
* Distance from balanced price (quality multiplier)
* Size of your order relative to market depth
No special contracts or hidden mechanics - simply place limit orders and earn rewards while your capital provides market depth. The clearer the price signal your order helps establish, the more you earn. Space's reward parameters are designed to maintain efficient capital allocation across all markets, ensuring that important but less-popular questions still attract the liquidity needed for reliable pricing.\
\
To keep prices honest across all markets and timeframes, liquidity rewards are distributed based on two key factors that determine the value of your contribution to price discovery:
## 1. Duration-Based Rewards
Longer-dated markets receive higher reward multipliers. As shown in the Liquidity Reward Multiplier curve, markets resolving further in the future earn progressively higher rewards, with multipliers increasing significantly in the first 90 days and continuing to rise through year-long markets. \
\
This addresses a fundamental challenge: providers naturally prefer shorter timeframes where capital isn't locked. By offering higher rewards on longer-dated markets, liquidity is directed where it's most needed but naturally most scarce. A market resolving in 6 months earns substantially more than one resolving next week - compensating you for the extended capital commitment.
## 2. Quality Based Rewards
Not all liquidity is equally valuable. The Commitment Quality Curve shows that orders placed near the balanced price of \$0.50 earn the highest rewards, while orders at extreme prices (\$0.05 or \$0.95) earn minimal rewards. \
\
Why? Orders near \$0.50 represent maximum uncertainty - where genuine price discovery happens. These are the hardest positions to maintain because neither outcome has a clear advantage, making your capital most vulnerable but also most valuable to market function. You're providing liquidity exactly where disagreement exists and where accurate pricing matters most.\
\
Orders at extreme prices (\$0.05 or \$0.95) are easier commitments - one outcome seems obvious, so there's less risk but also less price discovery value. These orders earn proportionally lower rewards because they contribute less to finding true market consensus.
##
# Placing a Limit Order
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/guides/limit-order
Set your price and wait for execution
Limit orders allow you to set a specific price at which you wish to buy or sell an outcome. They are pending trades that will execute when the market trades at the price you selected. For instance, if you're willing to pay up to \$0.65 for 1,000 YES shares in the market *"Will Bitcoin trade above \$100,000 before year-end?"* but the current market price is \$0.68, you could place a limit buy order for 1,000 shares at \$0.65. Your order will remain open in the book until another trader is ready to sell at your target price - at which point your trade executes automatically, without paying any [taker](/concepts/makers-takers) fee. Once you've found a market you want to place a limit order on, follow the steps below.
# Managing Orders and Positions
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/guides/managing-orders
Track and manage your trades
You can view and manage your positions, orders and history by clicking Portfolio in the main navigation. This page will show your total portfolio value, available balance, profit/loss as well as the below.
## Positions
For each of your positions, you can see the market, price at which entered, [leverage](/features/leverage) (if used), your positions’s current value, profit/loss as well as additional options (to sell your position or share your profit/loss card) by clicking on a position tile.
## Open Orders
You can close your orders in the Open Orders tab by clicking the X button on the right of each order.
## History
Here you can see the history of your closed trades and performance.
# Placing a Market Order
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/guides/market-order
Buy instantly at current prices
Placing a market order is easy and best suited for those looking for an instant fill on a quick trade. Once you've found a [market](/features/categories) you want to trade an outcome on, follow the steps below.
You can then choose to wait until the market is resolved and either YES or NO answers are marked as victorious. Alternatively, if you wish to exit your position earlier than the market's resolution, follow the steps below:
# Deterministic Resolution
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/resolution/deterministic
How crypto markets resolve automatically
Crypto markets resolve using oracle price feeds with Time-Weighted Average Price (TWAP) calculations.
## **Infrastructure**
**Primary:** Pyth Network ([link](https://www.pyth.network/))
**Fallback:** Switchboard ([link](https://switchboard.xyz/))
Both provide real-time, cryptographically signed price data for crypto assets.
## TWAP Calculation
Markets resolve using a 15-minute Time-Weighted Average Price ending at market expiry.
$$
\text{TWAP} = \sum_{i} (p_i \times t_i) / \sum_{i}t_i
$$
Where:
* $p_i$ is the price at data point $i$
* $t_i$ is the duration that the price was active
* Window: 15 minutes ending at expiry $T$
**Example:**
| | **Value** |
| --------------: | ------------------------------------------------- |
| **Market** | "Will BTC close above \$150,000 on Dec 31, 2025?" |
| **Expiry** | Dec 31, 2025 23:59:59 UTC |
| **TWAP Window** | 23:45:00 – 23:59:59 UTC |
If $\text{TWAP} \ge 150000$ → YES wins
If $\text{TWAP} < 150,000$ → NO wins
## Why TWAP?
Single-timestamp prices are manipulable. A 15-minute average requires sustained price movement, making flash loan attacks or brief manipulation ineffective.
## Multi-Feed Protection
$$
\text{Final Price} = \text{Median}(\text{Pyth Price}, \text{Switchboard Price})
$$
If $\frac{|\text{Pyth} - \text{Switchboard}|}{\text{Median}} > 2\% $: → Pause resolution → Alert admins → Manual review
Cross-validation prevents single oracle failures.
## Price Clamping
Maximum 1% price movement per minute during TWAP window. Outliers beyond 3 standard deviations are rejected.
## Liveness Checks
TWAP window requires a minimum number of oracle updates (approximately 2 per minute = 30 updates for 15-minute window).
**If insufficient updates:**
* Check if oracle is down
* If yes: extend window
* If no: mark market invalid
# Invalid Markets
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/resolution/invalid
When markets get voided and refunded
Markets can be marked invalid if fair resolution isn't possible.
## Conditions
**Oracle Failure:**
* Insufficient data during TWAP window
* Oracle permanently down
* Data corrupted or clearly wrong
**Ambiguous Criteria:**
* Resolution terms unclear
* Interpretation disputed
* Multiple valid interpretations
**External Circumstances:**
* Event cancelled (e.g., game postponed indefinitely)
* Force majeure
* Unforeseen circumstances preventing resolution
## Settlement
All users receive full refunds:
YES holders → refund purchase price NO holders → refund purchase price
Fees → refunded
No one profits, no one loses. Market treated as if it never existed.
## Integrity Controls
Multisig can mark markets invalid if:
* Technical failure prevents fair resolution
* Resolution would be clearly unjust
* Community consensus that market should be voided
All invalid resolutions are logged and publicly visible.
# Oracle Resolution
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/resolution/oracle
Multisig resolution with evidence validation
Some markets like politics, sports, and culture markets may use a hybrid resolution process that sources verified truth from oracles. In some cases, oracles wait for confirmation from multiple trusted sources - similar to waiting for multiple confirmations on a blockchain - to prevent fraud and ensure accuracy.
## Resolution Process

AI validates outcome against evidence before on-chain submission:
* Parse evidence source
* Compare to market resolution criteria
* Flag if mismatch
If AI disagrees, transaction is blocked and admins alerted.
After on-chain submission, AI validates again:
* Confirm submitted outcome matches evidence
* Alert admins if discrepancy detected
* Enable challenge period
24-48 hours (configurable per market) for community review:
* Users can flag incorrect resolutions
* Flagged markets go to admin review
* Override possible if clearly wrong
## Evidence Requirements
**Whitelisted Sources:**
* News: Major wire services and established news organizations
* Sports: Official league sources and reputable sports media
* Government: Official .gov domains or international equivalent
**Requirements:**
* Publicly accessible URL
* Content hash stored on-chain

## Risks, Disclaimers and Important Information
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the risks described in this section and voluntarily assume them. If you do not understand or accept these risks, you must not use the Services.
### Eligibility
The Services are available only to persons aged 18 or over who have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of their jurisdiction. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your access to and use of the Platform complies with all laws and regulations applicable in your jurisdiction.
### Nature of the Platform
The Platform operates as a decentralised peer-to-peer exchange where users trade Outcome Shares with each other through an order book.
Space does not take positions in any Market, does not set odds, and does not act as a bookmaker, counterparty, or house. The Services are structured as a financial exchange and not as a betting product.
We acknowledge that certain jurisdictions may classify prediction market activity as gambling under local law. Any such classification does not change the structure or operation of the Platform. You are solely responsible for determining whether using the Services is lawful in your jurisdiction.
Space does not hold any financial services licence and does not operate as a broker, dealer, exchange, or investment adviser in any jurisdiction. Outcome Shares are not intended to be securities, derivatives, or regulated financial instruments unless a competent authority in your jurisdiction determines otherwise.
### No Advice
Space does not provide investment, financial, legal, tax, or trading advice of any kind.
Nothing on the Platform should be treated as a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any position. All trading decisions are made solely by you and at your own risk.
Information, data, probabilities, charts, commentary, or other materials available through the Platform are provided for informational purposes only. Such information may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated and must not be relied upon as advice or as a guarantee of any outcome.
If you are unsure about any aspect of the Services or the risks involved, you should seek independent professional advice before using the Platform.
### Trading Risks
Trading on the Platform involves substantial financial risk and may result in the total loss of funds committed to a position.
**Binary outcome risk**
Every Market resolves to either 1 USDC or 0 USDC per Share depending on the outcome of the underlying Event.
If the Event resolves against your position, your Shares will settle at zero. There is no partial recovery. This is fundamentally different from traditional financial instruments where value may fluctuate.
**Leverage and liquidation risk**
The Platform may allow leveraged trading of up to 10x leverage.
If your position falls below the applicable liquidation threshold, it may be liquidated automatically and without prior notice. Liquidation may result in the immediate loss of all collateral posted for that position.
You should not use leverage unless you fully understand how liquidation works and accept the risk of total loss.
**Liquidity risk**
Not all Markets will have sufficient liquidity to allow you to enter or exit positions at your desired price or at all. You may be unable to close a position prior to Market resolution.
**Volatility risk**
Market prices may move rapidly as new information about the underlying Event becomes available. Prices available when you place an order may differ significantly from the price ultimately executed.
**No guarantee of returns**
Space does not guarantee any return on any position. Past performance in previous Markets does not indicate future results.
You should only use funds that you can afford to lose entirely.
### Crypto-Asset Risks
**General crypto-asset risk**
Crypto-assets, including USDC and \$SPC, carry risks that traditional financial assets do not.
Their value is not guaranteed by any government or central bank. Crypto-assets may experience extreme volatility and may lose significant or all value.
Regulatory frameworks governing Crypto-assets vary widely across jurisdictions and continue to evolve. Crypto-assets may be restricted or prohibited in certain jurisdictions.
**Blockchain and smart contract risk**
The Platform operates using smart contracts deployed on the Solana Blockchain.
Blockchain networks may experience congestion, forks, outages, or other disruptions. Smart contracts may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or unintended logic.
These risks are inherent to decentralised technology and are outside Space's control.
Blockchain transactions may be irreversible.
**Wallet and private key risk**
You are solely responsible for the security of your Electronic Wallet, private keys, and access credentials.
Space does not have access to your wallet or private keys and cannot recover them under any circumstances. If you lose access to your wallet or private keys, your funds may become permanently inaccessible.
### Non-Custodial Infrastructure
The Platform operates using non-custodial infrastructure.
Space does not hold, control, or have access to user funds at any time. All transactions occur directly from users' Electronic Wallets through smart contracts deployed on the Solana Blockchain.
When you trade on the Platform, your funds move peer-to-peer through the protocol. Space is never in possession of your USDC, Shares, or other Crypto-assets.
You retain full control over your assets at all times. Space cannot freeze, reverse, or recover funds from your wallet.
### \$SPC Token
**The \$SPC token is not an investment**
The \$SPC token is intended solely as a utility token within the Space ecosystem.
It is not intended to be, and should not be interpreted as, an investment, security, commodity, derivative, or financial instrument.
You should not acquire or hold \$SPC with any expectation of profit, appreciation in value, or financial return. Space makes no representation that \$SPC will retain any value or that any market for \$SPC will exist or continue to exist.
**No ownership or governance rights**
Holding \$SPC does not grant you any ownership interest, equity stake, governance rights, voting rights, revenue share, or any other rights in Space or any affiliated entity.
### Regulatory and Legal Risks
The regulatory environment for prediction markets, Crypto-assets, and decentralised finance is evolving rapidly across jurisdictions.
Existing laws and regulations may change at any time. Future regulatory developments may require Space to modify, restrict, or discontinue the Services in certain jurisdictions without prior notice.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with all laws applicable in your jurisdiction, including financial services regulations, gambling laws, anti-money laundering requirements, and tax obligations.
Space does not provide legal or tax advice.
### Your Responsibility
Trading on the Platform involves the real possibility of losing the entire amount committed to a position.
You should not trade using funds required for essential living expenses, debt obligations, or other financial commitments.
If you do not fully understand how blockchain technology, non-custodial wallets, or prediction markets operate, you should not use the Services.
If your use of the Platform becomes compulsive or harmful to your financial or personal wellbeing, you should stop using the Services and seek professional support in your jurisdiction. Users may contact Space to request voluntary self-exclusion.
## Space Public Sale
Space may conduct or facilitate a public sale of the \$SPC token (the "Public Sale"). Participation in the Public Sale involves significant risk and uncertainty.
By participating in any Public Sale, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
### No investment purpose
The \$SPC token is offered solely for its intended utility within the Space ecosystem. The Public Sale is not an offer of securities, financial instruments, or investment products.

## Services
Space provides a decentralised prediction market platform on the Solana Blockchain. The Services allow you to trade on the outcomes of Events, manage positions, and participate in incentive programs. All core Services operate in USDC.
Full technical documentation describing how the Platform works is available at [https://docs.into.space/en/concepts/how-it-works](https://docs.into.space/en/concepts/how-it-works).
**Access.** To use the Services you must connect a compatible Electronic Wallet. All transactions - placing orders, posting collateral, receiving settlement - are executed through your connected wallet. You are solely responsible for maintaining access to your wallet.
**Trading.** Markets are available across categories including crypto, politics, sports, economics, technology, and culture. Each Market is based on a defined Event with predefined resolution criteria published before trading opens.
You trade by buying and selling Shares:
* A YES Share pays 1 USDC if the Event resolves in favour of that outcome and 0 USDC if it does not.
* A NO Share pays 1 USDC if the Event does not resolve in favour of that outcome and 0 USDC if it does.
* In any binary Market, YES and NO Share prices always add up to 1 USDC.
You can enter and exit positions at any time before a Market resolves, subject to available liquidity.
**Leverage.** The Services allow you to trade with leverage of up to 10x. This means you can take a position larger than the collateral you post. If your position falls to the liquidation threshold, it will be closed automatically and without prior notice. You may lose all posted collateral. Do not use leverage unless you fully understand how liquidation works.
**Fees.** The Platform applies a dynamic fee structure to taker orders. Maker orders that add liquidity to the order book incur no fee. Fee rates are published on the Platform and may vary based on Market conditions. Space reserves the right to update its fee structure at any time with notice published on the Platform.
**Market Resolution.** Each Market resolves in accordance with its predefined resolution criteria. Markets resolve through one of two mechanisms:
* Deterministic resolution - for crypto price and on-chain Events, resolved automatically using verifiable blockchain data.
* Oracle resolution - for real-world Events, resolved using designated data sources following the conclusion of the Event. Space reserves the right to extend the resolution period at its sole discretion.
Resolution criteria are final and binding. Space does not adjust outcomes based on a User's subjective interpretation of an Event. If you disagree with how a Market is defined or how it will resolve, do not trade in it.
**Oracle Failure.** If a designated data source is unavailable or provides data Space reasonably considers to be unreliable, Space may extend the resolution period, designate an alternative data source, or void the Market and return collateral to Users at the last recorded position value net of fees. Space's decision in these circumstances is final. You waive any claim against Space arising from the designation of an alternative data source, delayed resolution, or voiding of a Market in accordance with these Terms.
**Market Cancellation.** Space may cancel or void a Market at any time if the underlying Event is cancelled or postponed indefinitely, the resolution criteria cannot produce a determinable outcome, the Market has been subject to manipulation, or continuing the Market would create material legal or regulatory risk. If a Market is voided, Space will use reasonable efforts to return USDC collateral to Users' wallets. Space is not liable for loss of anticipated profits or opportunity cost arising from a cancellation.
Space reserves the right to modify the smart contracts underlying this mechanism at any time. Material changes will be communicated to Users in advance where reasonably practicable.
**Platform availability.** Space does not guarantee continuous availability of the Platform. The Services may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons outside Space's control. Certain features may be experimental or in beta and may contain bugs or behave unexpectedly. You use experimental features entirely at your own risk.
**Portfolio.** The Platform provides a portfolio interface where you can monitor your positions, open orders, balances, and trade history.
## \$SPC Token
\$SPC is an optional utility token. You do not need to hold or use \$SPC to access the core Services. All Markets and core platform features operate in USDC.
\$SPC may be used in connection with trading competitions, referral programs, seasonal airdrops, and certain Markets that accept \$SPC as the trading currency.
**Fee allocation.** Space operates a fee allocation mechanism whereby 50% of all trading fees are used to purchase and permanently burn \$SPC tokens, and 50% are allocated to the protocol treasury. This is executed on-chain through the Platform's smart contracts. Space reserves the right to modify this mechanism at any time. Material changes will be communicated to Users in advance where reasonably practicable.
**Incentive programs and Seasons.** Space may run time-limited incentive programs called Seasons. During a Season, your activity on the Platform generates points that determine eligibility for \$SPC distributions. Points are participation metrics only - they are not tokens, have no monetary value, and do not guarantee any future reward. Points reset at the end of each Season. Season parameters are published before each Season begins.
**No value warranty.** Space makes no representation regarding the value, utility, price, or future performance of \$SPC. Acquiring or holding \$SPC involves risk, including the risk of total loss of value.
**The \$SPC token is not an investment.** \$SPC is a utility token intended solely for use within the Space ecosystem. It is not intended to be, and should not be construed as, an investment, security, commodity, derivative, or financial instrument of any kind under the laws of any jurisdiction.
You should not purchase, acquire, or hold \$SPC with any expectation of profit, appreciation in value, or financial return. Space makes no representation that \$SPC will retain any value or that any market for \$SPC will exist or continue to exist.
Holding \$SPC does not grant you any ownership interest, equity stake, governance rights, voting rights, revenue share, or any other rights in Space or any of its affiliated entities.
Space may modify, suspend, or terminate any \$SPC distribution program, incentive mechanism, or token-related feature at any time and without prior notice. You have no right to any future \$SPC distribution, airdrop, or reward by virtue of past participation or current holdings.
## Users Obligations, Responsibilities and Wellbeing
By using the Services, you agree to everything in this section. Read it carefully.
Your trading decisions are yours alone. Before entering any position, you are responsible for reviewing the Market's outcome question, resolution criteria, fee structure, and leverage parameters. Space does not advise you. Every decision you make on the Platform is based on your own analysis and judgment.
**You accept the risks.** By using the Services you acknowledge that:
* Shares can expire worthless. If the Event resolves against your position, you receive 0 USDC per Share regardless of how close the market price was to winning.
* Leveraged positions can be liquidated without notice. You may lose all posted collateral instantly.
* Market prices move rapidly. The price available when you place an order may not be the price you get.
* There is no guarantee of liquidity. You may not be able to exit a position at your desired price or at all.
* Past performance in previous Markets is not indicative of future results.
**You are responsible for your own compliance.** You must ensure your use of the Services complies with all laws applicable in your jurisdiction, including anti-money laundering (AML) and tax obligations. Space does not provide legal advice. If you are unsure whether using the Services is lawful where you are, seek independent legal advice before proceeding.
**Sanctions.** By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are not, and are not acting on behalf of, any person or entity that is:
* listed on any sanctions list maintained by the UN Security Council, OFAC, FATF, or any equivalent authority;
* a citizen or resident of any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive trade sanctions or embargoes; or
* otherwise prohibited from using the Services under Applicable Law.
**Jurisdiction.** Space reserves the right to restrict or refuse access to the Services in any country or region at its sole discretion, at any time and without notice.
**Minors.** The Services are strictly prohibited for anyone under the age of 18, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher. By using the Services you confirm you meet this requirement. Space reserves the right to require age verification at any time and to immediately terminate any account found to be operated by a minor.
**Responsible use.** Space encourages responsible participation. If your use of the Platform is becoming compulsive or harmful to your financial or personal wellbeing, stop using it and seek support from a professional in your jurisdiction. You may contact us at [support@into.space](mailto:support@into.space) to request voluntary self-exclusion. We will use reasonable efforts to restrict your account within 5 business days of receiving a verified request. Self-exclusion via alternative wallets or devices cannot always be technically enforced, and Space accepts no liability for losses incurred in those circumstances.
**Third party services.** Parts of the Platform may link to or integrate with third-party websites, wallets, or services. Those third parties operate under their own terms and Space has no control over them. Space is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of third-party services, even where those services are displayed on or accessible through the Platform.
**Campaigns.** Space may run campaigns including giveaways, airdrops, and referral programs. Campaigns run directly by Space are subject to these Terms and any specific campaign rules published at the time. Campaigns run by third parties are governed entirely by their own terms. Space is not responsible for third-party campaigns even if they appear on the Platform.
## Regulatory Scope
**Space is not a gambling operator.** The Platform is a decentralised peer-to-peer exchange. Users trade against each other through an order book. Space does not take positions, set odds, or act as a bookmaker or house. The Platform provides software infrastructure that allows users to participate in peer-to-peer prediction markets. Nothing in these Terms creates any fiduciary duty on the part of Space toward any User.
We acknowledge that some jurisdictions may classify prediction market activity as gambling under local law. That classification - where it exists - does not change the nature of what Space is or how it operates. You are solely responsible for determining whether using the Services is lawful in your jurisdiction.
**Space is not a financial services provider.** Space does not hold any financial services licence and does not operate as a broker, dealer, exchange, or investment adviser in any jurisdiction. Outcome Shares are not securities, derivatives, or regulated financial instruments unless a competent authority in your jurisdiction determines otherwise. Nothing on the Platform is financial advice.
**US Persons are prohibited.** The Services are not available to US Persons. A US Person is anyone who is:
* a citizen or resident of the United States or any of its territories;
* a legal entity incorporated or based in the United States or any of its territories; or
* physically accessing the Services from within the United States or its territories.
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are not a US Person and are not acting on behalf of one. This prohibition exists because Space is not registered with the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and does not offer event contracts or swaps to US Persons. Any access by a US Person is unauthorised and a material breach of these Terms. Space reserves the right to restrict your access to the Platform, disabling platform interfaces, preventing further interaction through supported front-end services, and taking any other action reasonably available to Space.
**Restricted jurisdictions.** The Services are also unavailable to persons located in, resident in, or citizens of the following jurisdictions: United Kingdom, France, Portugal, Hungary, Australia, Canada, China (including Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR), Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Russia, Belarus, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, and any jurisdiction on the FATF High-Risk Jurisdictions list subject to a Call for Action. Space may update this list at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on the Platform.
Using a VPN or proxy to circumvent geographic restrictions is a material breach of these Terms. You assume all legal and financial risk from doing so.
## Identification, Security and Prohibited Conduct
**Identity verification.** Space may be required by law or regulatory obligation to verify your identity. This may be triggered by transaction volume, jurisdiction, or risk indicators. When required, you must provide documents such as a government-issued ID, proof of address, or proof of funds. Space retains identity data only as long as required by Applicable Law and in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
If you do not complete identity verification when requested, Space may suspend or terminate your access. If information you provide is found to be false or incomplete, Space may terminate your account immediately. You are liable for any costs or losses Space incurs as a result of false information you provide.
**Your wallet is your responsibility.** All actions taken through your connected Electronic Wallet are deemed to have been authorised by you. Space cannot access, recover, or reverse transactions in your wallet under any circumstances. Space is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised access to your wallet, phishing, hacking, or any other compromise of your private keys. Loss of private keys, seed phrases, or wallet credentials may result in permanent loss of access to your Crypto-assets, and Space cannot recover them.
**Account suspension and termination.** Space may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if:
* you breach these Terms;
* we are required to do so by law or regulatory order;
* your account shows signs of fraudulent, manipulative, or suspicious activity; or
* we discontinue the Platform or any part of the Services.
On termination, open positions will be handled in accordance with their applicable Market resolution criteria. Space is not liable for losses arising from suspension or termination carried out in accordance with these Terms.
**Prohibited conduct.** By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you will not:
* violate any Applicable Law or these Terms;
* interfere with or disrupt the Services or the experience of other Users;
* engage in any form of market manipulation, including pump and dump schemes, wash trading, spoofing, layering, quote stuffing, front running, or self-trading;
* attempt to identify or exploit any vulnerability in the Platform, its smart contracts, or any integrated third-party system - any gains derived from exploiting a vulnerability may be clawed back by Space;
* introduce malware, viruses, trojans, or any other malicious code into the Platform;
* attempt unauthorised access to the Platform, its servers, or connected systems;
* create multiple accounts to circumvent access restrictions, geographic blocks, self-exclusion requests, or any other limitation imposed under these Terms;
* use automated bots or scripts to interact with the Platform in a way that disrupts, overloads, or unfairly advantages you relative to other Users, except where Space has expressly permitted this in writing; or
* use the Services for any illegal purpose or to cause harm to any person.
**Enforcement.** Space may investigate any suspected breach of these Terms and take action without prior notice, including blocking or closing your account, restricting or disabling your access to the Platform, blocking interface access, or taking any other action reasonably available to Space, reporting the matter to relevant authorities, and taking legal action. Space's determination of whether a breach has occurred is final for the purposes of any enforcement action taken under these Terms.
## Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Space, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, costs, damages, penalties, and legal fees arising from:
* your use of the Services;
* your breach of these Terms; or
* your violation of any Applicable Law or the rights of any third party.
Space reserves the right to take sole control of the defence of any claim covered by this indemnity, including decisions on settlement, at its own discretion.
## Warranty and Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Applicable Law, Space and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers disclaim all representations and warranties - express, implied, or statutory - in connection with the Platform, the Services, any Market, any Share, USDC, or \$SPC.
In particular, Space does not warrant that:
* the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects;
* any order will be matched, executed, or filled at any particular price or at all;
* any Market will have sufficient liquidity;
* any position can be closed at a desired price or before liquidation;
* any leveraged position will avoid liquidation;
* any liquidity reward, airdrop, or incentive will be earned or distributed;
* any Market price reflects objective real-world probability;
* market data, price feeds, oracle inputs, or blockchain data used for resolution are accurate, complete, or reliable; or
* the smart contracts underlying the Platform are free from bugs, vulnerabilities, or unintended logic.
Market resolution criteria are final and binding. Space does not adjust outcomes based on your subjective interpretation of an Event. If you disagree with how a Market is defined or how it resolves, do not trade in it.
Space does not warrant the security or continuous availability of the Solana Blockchain or any other infrastructure used in connection with the Services. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible. Network congestion, forks, and technical failures are outside Space's control.
Space makes no representation regarding the value, utility, or future performance of \$SPC or any other digital asset.
Crypto-asset markets are highly experimental and may experience extreme volatility, regulatory changes, or technological failures that could affect the operation of the Platform or the value of digital assets used within it.
In jurisdictions that do not permit the exclusion of certain warranties, those warranties are limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
## Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Applicable Law, Space and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, punitive, or multiple damages of any kind arising from your use of the Platform or the Services.
Space is not liable for any financial loss arising from:
* orders that are not matched, executed, delayed, or cancelled;
* market volatility, price movements, illiquidity, or slippage;
* leverage and the liquidation of positions;
* Market resolution in accordance with predefined criteria;
* oracle data, blockchain data, or third-party data sources;
* smart contract bugs, vulnerabilities, or unintended logic;
* network congestion, blockchain forks, or technical disruptions;
* unauthorised access to or transactions through your Electronic Wallet;
* third-party services or infrastructure; or
* participation in any incentive program, airdrop, or \$SPC-related feature.
Space is not liable for the trading decisions or conduct of other Users, or for Market conditions resulting from User activity.
**Aggregate cap.** To the extent any liability is found despite the exclusions above, Space's total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the greater of: (i) the total fees you paid to Space in the 30 days before the event giving rise to the claim; or (ii) USD 100. This cap applies across all claims combined, not per claim.
These exclusions and limitations apply whether or not Space has been advised of the possibility of such losses, and to the fullest extent permitted by Applicable Law.
## Intellectual Property Rights
Space grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform solely for your personal use and only as permitted by these Terms. You may not use the Platform for commercial purposes, resale, or on behalf of any third party without Space's prior written consent. Unauthorised use is a material breach of these Terms.
All rights in and to the Platform, the Services, and all related intellectual property - including software, code, interfaces, content, logos, trademarks, and documentation - belong to Space or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
## Force Majeure
Space is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where that failure or delay results from events outside its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, acts of terrorism, regulatory action, Blockchain network failures, or internet infrastructure outages.
## Changes to these Terms
Space may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on the Platform, with the "Last Reviewed" date updated accordingly. Your continued use of the Services after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.
For material changes, Space will use reasonable efforts to give Users at least 7 days' notice before they take effect, where practicable.
If you have questions about any changes, contact us at [support@into.space](mailto:support@into.space).
## Transfer of these Terms
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without Space's prior written consent. Space may transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms to any affiliate or successor entity without your consent, provided this does not materially reduce your rights under these Terms.
## Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama. Any dispute arising from your use of the Platform or these Terms shall be resolved exclusively under Panamanian law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
**Arbitration.** Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be finally resolved by arbitration under the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). The seat of arbitration is Panama City, Republic of Panama. The language is English. The arbitral award is final and binding. Nothing in this clause prevents Space from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
**Class action waiver.** You waive any right to bring or participate in any class action, collective action, or representative proceeding against Space. All claims must be brought on an individual basis only.
**Severability.** If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. The invalid provision will be replaced with one that most closely reflects the original intent.

A brief history of prediction markets
> *"Fundamentally, in a system in which the knowledge of the relevant facts is dispersed among many people, prices can act to coordinate the separate actions of different people."*
>
> **— Friedrich A. Hayek**
## The History
When people talk about prediction markets today, they often describe them as modern tools for forecasting elections, crypto, sporting events, or even the likelihood of new technologies emerging. However, the intellectual roots of prediction markets go back almost 80 years, to Friedrich Hayek's classic 1945 essay [*The Use of Knowledge in Society*](https://www.aeaweb.org/aer/top20/35.4.519-530.pdf).
## Markets as Knowledge Coordinators
Friedrich Hayek made a claim: markets are the best way to coordinate dispersed knowledge. He argued that commodity prices transmit local insights about scarcity, demand or opportunity - which no central planner could ever gather in time.
In essence, global financial markets aggregate billions of individual forecasts about the future (corporate profits, interest rates, defaults, commodity supplies), thus functioning as large-scale, versatile prediction markets on topics ranging from weather and politics to corporate news.
For example, a rise in the price of copper instantly tells producers that it's time to expand supply and consumers that it's time to economize - even if neither group knows exactly why demand or supply shifted. Prices compress countless local signals into a single, actionable number that directs the actions of millions of producers and consumers across the globe.
## The Limits of Hayek's Era
As revolutionary as his theory was, Hayek's vision ran into the technological limits of his day. Markets could only capture certain kinds of knowledge - those tied directly to tangible goods like wheat, oil or steel.
This brought about the question - what about the knowledge of future events? The political analyst who saw election patterns, the engineer who knew which technology would succeed, the doctor who understood which treatment worked - this knowledge remained locked away. You couldn't trade it, you couldn't verify it and you couldn't aggregate it into a usable signal.
## Blockchain Removes the Walls
Traditional prediction markets tried, but they hit walls; limited access, geographical restrictions, trusted intermediaries, slow settlements, and the constant need for a centralized authority to decide what was "true".
Blockchain removes those walls. By making prediction markets open, automated, trustless and global. Blockchain finally allows outcomes to be priced in the same way as commodities are, thus turning dispersed knowledge into actionable signals.
## Space Brings This Vision to Life
By combining a central limit order book with multi-outcome markets, dynamic liquidity incentives, and continuous trading, Space creates the infrastructure for Hayek's knowledge problem to be solved at scale. Not just for copper or wheat - but for elections, technological breakthroughs, market movements and any question where dispersed human knowledge needs to be coordinated.
This is prediction markets living up to their promise: an open platform for turning scattered insights into calibrated forecasts that help individuals, institutions and societies make better decisions, while rewarding those who are right.
# Vision
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/start/vision
Why now is the moment for prediction markets
Space is built with the belief that prediction markets can become a permissionless oracle of insight - a tool that helps societies, institutions, and individuals make decisions across an unlimited range of questions.
Prediction markets should be everywhere. They should inform policy decisions, guide capital allocation, and help [societies coordinate around truth](https://x.com/intodotspace/status/1980271841877921896). Instead, they're niche tools used by a small group of sophisticated traders.\
\
In order for prediction markets to become global truth infrastructure, they must first overcome their biggest obstacle — liquidity. Most platforms struggle to attract consistent market depth and active participation. Space solves this by taking inspiration from Hyperliquid's model; user [acquisition and retention loops](https://nodescience.medium.com/ultimate-guide-on-hyperliquid-season-2-07-19-updated-bb16870f4d98) through airdrop distribution, gamification and rewards to the most active participants of the platform.
## The Perfect Storm
Three forces are converging to make prediction markets mainstream:
1. **Technology is Ready**\
Blockchain infrastructure has matured. Solana delivers the speed and cost structure needed for high-frequency, small-stake markets. Smart contracts can enforce rules transparently without intermediaries.
2. **Culture is Primed**\
The 2024 election put prediction markets into the spotlight. Polymarket dominated news cycles. Crypto natives embraced gambling mechanics through pump.fun and memecoins. The appetite for markets-as-entertainment has never been higher.
3. **Demand is Undeniable**\
Institutions need better forecasting tools. Individuals want exposure to outcomes they understand. Capital is searching for uncorrelated returns. The demand exists - the supply hasn't matched it yet.
## The Opportunity
On top of the window of opportunity now open for prediction markets, there are also challenges that demand solutions. Most of which are well recognized - by builders, analysts, and investors alike - and are waiting for decisive answers ([ChainCatcher, 2024](https://www.chaincatcher.com/en/article/2130614)).
**Liquidity:** The biggest issue that prediction markets face is liquidity; markets outside major US elections are thin and easily manipulated. A \$10,000 order can swing odds by 10%+ on important but niche topics, thus making prices unreliable and discouraging institutional participation. They lack user acquisition and retention loops that keep users continuously coming back to the platform.
**Capital Inefficiency:** Users lock funds until resolution - sometimes months or years. Returns are capped (0 to 1) which provides low return rates by default (no leverage). No ability to provide liquidity across multiple outcomes. Capital sits idle when it could be working harder.
**Poor User Experience:** Platforms decide what you can trade on and keep 100% of platform fees. No retention mechanics like daily tasks, streaks. No rewards for contributing liquidity. No incentive to stay beyond a single trade.
**Expert Exodus:** The people with the best information often don't participate. Why? Returns are too low, markets are too illiquid, and there's no way to signal expertise beyond placing a single trade. Markets miss the very insights that would make them valuable.
**Result:** Prediction markets remain a curiosity instead of infrastructure.
## How Space Wins
Space is designed to solve these issues through the following core innovations:
1. **Architecture:** True price discovery through [transparent order books](/features/clob). Users trade against each other, not the platform. Market manipulators are penalized with higher fees.
2. **Growth and Liquidity Flywheel:** [Airdrop seasons](/features/airdrops), points and usage-based rewards direct token distribution toward the most active traders and [liquidity providers](/features/rewards), thus aligning real participation with ownership.
3. **Multi-Outcome Markets:** Pool liquidity across [related outcomes](/features/multi-outcome). One deep market instead of ten shallow ones.
4. **Leverage Multiplier:** [Increase position sizes](/features/leverage) without locking more capital. Better returns attract bigger participants.
5. **Continuous Trading:** Don't wait months for [resolution](/concepts/resolution) - exit anytime. Manage risk like a real trader.
6. **Engaging User Experience:** [Points system](/features/airdrops) rewarding active engagement on the platform, liquidity provision and early participation. Trading competitions, referral rewards, leaderboards and achievements.
**Result:** Solving the number-one issue of prediction markets (liquidity) through engineered user acquisition and retention loops that reward participation via airdrops, gamified points, and ranking systems. Competitive returns through leverage justify expert participation. Daily engagement builds community and ensures reliable pricing that institutions can trust.
Prediction markets as infrastructure, not just curiosity.
# What is Space?
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/start/what-is-space
Trade real-world outcomes with leverage and rewards
Space is a decentralized prediction market platform built on Solana where you can trade on real-world outcomes across crypto, politics, sports, technology, culture, and more - and earn [rewards](/features/airdrops) for being right.
## What Makes Space Different
Trade against other users, not the house. Set your own prices, exit anytime, and capture opportunities as they emerge.
Leverage trading, dynamic fee curves that rewards conviction, and continuous markets that let you enter or exit anytime.
Trade across multiple related outcomes in a single market with shared liquidity and seamless position shifting.
Powered by Solana's low latency and high throughput. Markets update in real-time as events unfold, with zero trading fees for makers.
Share minting and burning ensures liquidity is always available. Convert positions across outcomes without locking additional capital.
Earn rewards for providing liquidity - especially on longer-dated markets where your capital is most valuable.
## How It Works
Browse crypto, politics, sports, tech, economics, culture, and more. Pick [outcomes](/features/categories) you know better than the crowd does.
Buy YES or NO shares with [market orders](/guides/market-order) for instant fills, or set [limit orders](/guides/limit-order). Cash out anytime or hold until outcome [resolves](/concepts/resolution).
Multiply your exposure up to 10x with [leverage](/features/leverage). Small capital and big positions means outsized returns when you're right.
# Flywheel Mechanism
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/token/flywheel
How platform growth increases token value
Space's Flywheel Mechanism creates a self-sustaining cycle that aligns platform growth with token value through an automated fee-to-value system. By channeling trading activity directly into \$SPC buybacks and burns, deflationary pressure is created which benefits all ecosystem participants.
## Fee Distribution
All platform fees generated from trading activity are automatically split:
50% of Revenue
50% of Revenue
This allocation is fixed in the smart contract and provides:
* **Immediate value return** to token holders through supply reduction
* **Sustainable funding** for platform operations, development and security
* **Transparent allocation** with all transactions visible on-chain
Each component reinforces the others, creating compounding growth as the platform scales. The Flywheel Mechanism creates a virtuous cycle where platform success directly benefits token holders through:
* **Automated buybacks** using TWAP for optimal execution
* **Permanent burns** reducing supply continuously
* **Treasury funding** ensuring platform growth
* **Transparent operations** with public dashboard
* **Sustainable economics** balancing value return and development
As Space grows, the flywheel spins faster - more users generate more fees, driving larger burns, increasing scarcity, attracting more users, and perpetuating the cycle. This alignment of incentives between users, traders, liquidity providers, and token holders creates a foundation for Space’s long-term success.
# Token Utility
Source: https://docs.into.space/en/token/utility
What our token does
\$SPC token utility is designed to enhance the efficiency and usability of prediction markets without restricting demand from the user base. Requiring users to buy, hold or stake tokens in order to use a product gates access to it; Space enables everyone to use the platform without forcing them to interact with the token as this would limit demand and user base.
Token utility ties value to the platform performance, not just speculation via our [flywheel mechanism](/token/flywheel); direct exposure to platform success through revenue sharing played a major part in the success of Raydium & Aerodrome ([CFA Institute, 2025](https://blogs.cfainstitute.org/investor/2025/01/24/beyond-speculation-the-rise-of-revenue-sharing-tokens/)).
## Rewards and Incentives
* Airdrops: accumulate [points](/features/airdrops) through your activity on Space to qualify for airdrops
* Referral Rewards: earn rewards by referring new users to Space that deposit USDC and trade
* Trading Competitions: participate in trading competitions with \$SPC prize pools
## Exclusive Market Access
* **Exclusive Market Access:** Specialised markets will be accessible exclusively using \$SPC as the trading currency. This creates unique opportunities for token holders while maintaining broad market access in USDC for the general user base.
